There are only a few requirements for the cards - NO GLITTER or glittered products and please leave the inside of the cards blank. We need lots of Christmas cards, but birthday (adult, & children), anniversary, & Just Because cards, decorated but blank inside, are also welcome . Remember, there are no Hallmark stores for our soldiers to go to if they want to send a card home to a loved one.
If you have any questions feel free to email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Two of our participants this year stepped up & volunteered to hold a fundraiser raffle for Hurricane victims. All proceeds will go to the Red Cross.
Brenda Wiese & Michelle Wagner have put together two scrapbook and card making baskets with over 200 dollars of merchandise in each basket plus one more surprise grand basket full of fun, and maybe some chocolate!
Again ALL proceeds will go to the Red Cross to help with relief for victims of Hurricane Harvey & Irma.
This year we are collecting cards for Operation Tango Mike. Tango Mike is the call letters used when signing off and means "Thanks Much". Each month this non-profit organization sends over 100 comfort packages stuffed with toiletries, snacks, books, & more. For the October boxes we want to include cards that can be sent to loved ones back home, especially for Christmas.
For every 5 cards you hand in, you will receive a ticket for a drawing. We will be giving away 5 patriotic wood pieces Rod & I have created.
